Michelle Ferreira is a Brazilian writer and author of more than twelve plays. Her work has been staged at some of the most important venues in Brazil and in recent years she has been celebrated as one of the best playwrights of her generation. In 2016 her play “There is someone who hates us” was produced by the National Theatre of Scotland in Glasgow, directed by Amanda Gauhan as part of the project “A Play, a Pint and a Pie”. Michelle has been nominated for several awards in Brazil, including the Prêmio Shell (the most important theatre award in Brazil) and the Prêmio Luso Brasileiro de Dramaturgia. Michelle Ferreira also writes scripts for films and TV series.Michelle considers herself a feminist playwright and works with humour and a strong dose of sarcasm on heavy themes such as death, drugs and the misfortunes of her country.· More about “Reality – The Final” |
