With an M.D. from the Department of Modern Languages at the University of São Paulo and currently undertaking a Ph.D. in the same university, Alexandre is a playwright, director, and author. Nominated for the most important Brazilian awards, his plays have been performed all over the country and also abroad. His play Abnegation III was produced in Buenos Aires by director Lisandro Rodrigues and had a 10-month run there. Abnegation 1 was produced in Paris at the Monfort Theater with wide public and critical acceptance. He had texts translated and edited abroad, as in Argentina, Portugal, Germany, and France.
